With over a decade of experience in the Fast Casual bakery business, Louis Basile moved to Phoenix with the dream of starting his own restaurant concept. In 1996, he founded the Wildflower Bread Company and opened the first location in Scottsdale, Arizona. From the very start, the company aspired to build a reputation as more than just a specialty bakery and coffeehouse. In order to become a uniquely successful neighborhood restaurant, Wildflower has always focused on its “Three Pillars of Excellence” — Great Food, Outstanding Service and Everyday Affordability.

Breadheads (employees) create and sustain the Wildflower culture that is the key to our success. We are purpose-based and guided by values that we practice on a daily basis to achieve outstanding results for everyone — you, our customers and our Company. During your first four weeks at Wildflower, you will be asked to complete a passport journey based on our purpose, values and safe space (our communication tool set). At any time during your journey, both you and the Company can choose whether or not to continue. Those who complete the journey will receive a Purpose and Values pin symbolizing their understanding, commitment and passion for delivering the best experience — every time, every day.
