The Wildflower Family

If you are interested in joining the Wildflower family, you’ll want to know what to expect and what will be expected of you. Here you’ll learn about the ideas that launched the company, why great people are the key to our success, the many benefits of being a Breadhead (employee) and how to apply for a position.

The Beginning

With over a decade of experience in the Fast Casual bakery business, Louis Basile moved to Phoenix with the dream of starting his own restaurant concept. In 1996, he founded the Wildflower Bread Company and opened the first location in Scottsdale, Arizona. From the very start, the company aspired to build a reputation as more than just a specialty bakery and coffeehouse. In order to become a uniquely successful neighborhood restaurant, Wildflower has always focused on its “Three Pillars of Excellence” — Great Food, Outstanding Service and Everyday Affordability.
